Volunteer your Time, Join the CorpsThere are thousands of reasons to join, what will yours be?
People call for emergency medical services in times of their greatest need. The volunteer professionals that respond to these emergencies are your friends, neighbors and co-workers. The Ramsey Ambulance Corps is in need of people like you who are willing to help others. Will you answer the call? The Ramsey Ambulance Corps has two main classes of membership; you can become and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B), or join us as an Administrative Member, providing non-medical support functions that directly assist our organization. Come speak with one of our membership counselors. They will assist you in choosing the path that’s right for you.
Join As An EMT-BMembers who choose to join our EMS operations become Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT-B). The basic training consists of a one hundred twenty hour course that will certify you, upon successful completion, as an Emergency Medical Technician-Basic. If you join the Ramsey Ambulance Corps, this training is free. The Ramsey Ambulance Corps has flexible shift scheduling. We will work with your availability. Speak with a membership counselor to decide what class of riding membership fits your lifestyle. Join As An Administrative MemberSo you don’t think being an EMT is right for you? That’s okay! The Ramsey Ambulance Corps offers an Administrative class of membership. Administrative members help with administrative tasks, serve on committees, help with special projects and events, and assist in non-emergency roles that directly benefit the ambulance corps. Speak with a membership counselor to see if your skills match our needs.
