Mission Statement

The Ramsey Ambulance Corps is dedicated to providing a volunteer ambulance service for the residents of the Borough of Ramsey, New Jersey; to aid the suffering of humanity at all times and assist residents of other communities in cases of necessity or emergency; to affiliate with any County, State, National, or International First Aid organization which has for its aim the improvement of ambulance services; and for such other purposes as may be necessary or helpful. The Ramsey Ambulance Corps is a non-profit organization that subsists primarily on voluntary contributions to provide such superb service to its community.



About Us

The Ramsey Ambulance Corps. is a basic life support service [BLS] running two PL Custom Ford E-450 Type III ambulances. Ambulance 424 and Ambulance 425 arrived in 2007 as a result of a successful fundraising effort. The corps also maintains a 1997 Crown Victoria, known as 429, that is designated a command vehicle. Most recently, the Corps welcomed its newest addition, a bike unit, in the summer of 2006, which was also expanded in 2007.

  • The Ramsey Ambulance Corps responds to approximately 1,200 requests for an ambulance per year. The corps also provides BLS services for both borough and private events upon request.
  • The Ramsey Ambulance Corps proudly provides mutual aid assistance to our surrounding towns in their times of need.
  • The Ramsey Ambulance Corps is a member in good standing of the New Jersey State First Aid Council.
  • Ramsey, New Jersey is approximately a six square mile town with a population of approximately 14,500 residents.
