In an emergency, seconds count; that's why the Ramsey Ambulance Corps
has begun a new initiative to help emergency responders get access to
critical medical information at no cost to the public. The File of Life
Outreach Program is designed to help emergency responders to gather
your medical data, easily access potentially life-saving information,
maximize their time on scene, begin corrective treatment sooner, and
help give you peace of mind during an emergency. The File of Life is meant to be an updateable information source. New
information sheets can be requested from the Ramsey Ambulance Corps to
replace outdated ones. It is encouraged that the File of Life be
brought with you to your doctor's office and pharmacy. Learn More

On May 26, 2010, the Borough of Ramsey formally recognized the efforts of four members of the Ramsey Ambulance Corps for their efforts in providing disaster rescue and relief to the victims of the January 12, 2010 earthquake that struck Haiti. Mayor Christopher Botta and the town council unanimously issued certificates of appreciation to Eamon Daul, James Gatti, Sean Matro and Michael Migliaccio, and presented them with “Keychains to the Borough". Migliaccio and Daul were part of separate groups that were deployed to
Haiti within the first few days of the earthquake. Migliaccio was part
of a team of Emergency Medical Technicians and Rescue Specialists that
was sent through Our Chance International: Emergency Medical Services
Outreach, and Daul was a member of the team of emergency physicians and
nurses sent through Nova Hope and the Hackensack University Medical
Center.
