The Ramsey Ambulance Corps has many special services to offer. Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Instruction:We have American Heart Association and American Red Cross CPR (cardio-pulmonary resuscitation) certified instructors on staff. If you, your group, or organization are interested in becoming CPR certified, please contact us at (201) 327-1777 or send an e-mail to services@ramseyambulance.org.First-Aid Instruction:Do you feel you are unprepared for a medical emergency at your home or place of work? We can teach basic first-aid skills to you, your group, or organization. Each year the Ramsey Ambulance Corps provides EMS stand-bys for graduations, sporting events, parades, fireworks and many other events. If you want the Ramsey Ambulance Corps to provide EMS for your event, please call (201) 327-1777 or e-mail us at services@ramseyambulance.org.Bike Unit:The Ramsey Ambulance Corps Provides an emergency medical services bike unit for special events, and search and rescue functions as requested. The EMS bike unit supports and augments the EMS functions of the Ramsey Ambulance Corps, and other emergency services. Most recently it was utilized at for the Ramsey Run, Ramsey Day activities, and Ramsey’s Independence Day fireworks. The bike unit is equipped with oxygen and airway supplies, basic trauma and medical supplies, and other specialized equipment. The bike unit is available by request for events in Ramsey and other municipalities for emergencies and special events. The Ramsey Ambulance Corps is currently seeking donations of mountain bikes in good to excellent condition, or in the form of monetary support for supplies and equipment.
