Emergency Medical Technicians
Emergency Medical Technicians or EMTs are our frontline workers. After a 6-month training course (provided free to all members) they treat, stabilize, and transport the sick and injured. This class of membership is open to everyone 16+, no prior experience is needed. We require all EMTs to be on call 20 hours a month split into 4-hour shifts.
EMT driver must be 21+. You may join as a driver-only if you are 21+. Our drivers undergo over 10 hours of driver training on both of our ambulances in addition to CPR training. Experience is not needed but, you must have a clean driving record. Driver-onlys are required to ride 20 hours a month, split into 4-hour shifts.
Our Administrative members are the backbone of our corps. They oversee the behind the scenes operations. Serving on committees and as administrative officers, these members are not required to ride but are expected to attend all our business meetings and help at events.
